ACE Group/Chubb is a global risk management company and is one of the worlds largest multiline property and casualty insurers. It provides commercial property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, to a diverse group of clients. The company grew fast and added features that were after thoughts. These afterthoughts lead to a system that was mashed together with another system leading to major usability problems. As shown in the information architecture of the current state, the user is forced to navigate through the two systems. The main task was to combine the two systems into one system, and develop a more user friendly, visually appealing system.
